Explore the Full Life Experiences of Veterans

Drawing on the power of the humanities, Veterans’ Voices changes the narrative of Veterans and honors their contributions to our cultures and communities. It empowers Veterans to speak in their own voices through plays, discussions, literature, and the Veterans’ Voices Award.

Submission Deadline: Sunday, July 21, 2019

We invite Veterans living in Minnesota to submit poetry, prose, essays, and memoirs for consideration for the 2019 Veterans’ Voices Award. Selected authors will be honored at a ceremony on Oct. 5, 2019 in St. Paul.

This three-day salon is designed for educators working in the humanities field at colleges in the St. Paul area who are interested in exploring war, remembrance, memorials, monuments, as well as past and present social issues facing their Veteran and non-Veteran students.
