Teaching Bdote: Tools for Teaching American Indian Content

Saturday, September 28 | 10:00 am2:00 pm

$75

Are you an educator who has been on the Minnesota Humanities Center’s Bdote trip? Thinking about sharing the experience with your students but unsure how to do this on your own? Join other educators who want to share their learning with students in an interactive workshop. We will address the fears and anxieties that non-indigenous educators may have around teaching Dakota content. You will leave with new resources and content, deeper understanding, and the beginnings of an action plan to bring your students on a Bdote trip or to bring the experience into your classroom.

Participants will receive 4 clock hours, lunch, and materials. If cost is a barrier, please contact Jessica Rust before registering.
