Drawing on the power of the humanities, Veterans’ Voices changes the narrative of Veterans and honors their contributions. It empowers Veterans to speak in their own voices through plays, discussions, literature, and the Veterans’ Voices Award.

The Warrior Writers Workshop provides a safe space for Veterans to tell their own stories, using prompts and discussion covering a variety of military issues and experiences.
Veterans' Voices Educator Salon
Thursdays, Aug. 8, 15, and 22, St. Paul
This three-day salon is designed for educators working in the humanities field at colleges in the St. Paul area who are interested in exploring war, remembrance, memorials, monuments, as well as past and present social issues facing their Veteran and non-Veteran students.
2019 Veterans' Voices Award Submission
Submission Deadline: July 21, 2019
The Veterans’ Voices Award Ceremony will honor Veterans’ stories at the Union Depot in St. Paul. We invite Veterans living in Minnesota to submit poetry, prose, essays, and memoirs for consideration. We will invite selected authors to attend the Award Ceremony on Oct. 5 to celebrate their work.
Minnesota Remembers Vietnam
Now through June 2019, six communities from around the state will begin hosting events and activities aimed at remembering the war in Vietnam and Southeast Asia through the power of the humanities.Learn More
